How to Apply Kids Non-UV Nail Wraps
Ready to wear the moment you open the pack — no UV lamp, no drying time, no equipment. Just prep, apply, smooth down, and they're done.
👨👩👧 A note for grown-ups: little nails are delicate, so we recommend an adult helps with application and removal — especially the prep and the removal steps. The wraps are TPO and HEMA-free and gentle on small nails.
Each set lasts up to two weeks, so it's perfect for weekends, parties and holidays.
✅ Quick Checklist
- ☐ Wash hands and dry well — clean, dry nails stick best
- ☐ Push back cuticles gently with the wooden stick
- ☐ Wipe each nail with an alcohol wipe and let it dry
- ☐ Warm the wraps (and hands) with a hairdryer for a few seconds — cold is a top cause of lifting
- ☐ Peel the wrap and place it close to the cuticle
- ☐ Smooth from the centre out, press the edges firmly
- ☐ Avoid water for at least 2 hours — ideally longer

1. Prep
Wash little hands and dry them thoroughly. Gently push the cuticles back with the wooden stick and wipe each nail with an alcohol wipe — clean, dry nails are the secret to a long-lasting application.
2. Apply
Peel a wrap from the sheet and pick the size that fits the nail best — a slightly smaller wrap is better than one that overlaps the cuticle. Place it close to the cuticle, not on or touching it.
3. Smooth
Smooth the wrap firmly from the centre outwards with your finger, paying extra attention to the edges and the tip. Run your thumb over the top a few times to press it down. If a wrap is a little big, gently stretch it to fit or file the free edge downwards — never pull it beyond the natural nail.
Keep hands dry for the first 2 hours after application so the adhesive sets fully.
Removal — the easy, no-damage way
Please do not just peel them off. Soak the cuticle edge with cuticle oil, let it work for a moment, then gently lift the wrap away with the wooden stick. A little oil on each nail makes it quick and keeps small nails happy.

They're lifting at the edges.
This is the most common issue and is usually an application problem, not a fault. Make sure the nails were clean and dry before applying — wipe with an alcohol wipe and let it dry. Press the edges firmly and run your thumb over them a few times. Leave a tiny gap at the cuticle so the wrap isn't touching the skin. If it's cold, warm the wrap with a hairdryer first. Avoid water for the first couple of hours.
They don't stick.
Wipe the nail again with an alcohol wipe and make sure it's completely dry before applying. Don't touch the sticky side of the wrap while applying — the oils from your fingers affect adhesion. Warming the wrap for a few seconds with a hairdryer helps it grip.
The size doesn't match.
Pick the closest size — slightly smaller beats too large. A wrap that overlaps the cuticle will lift faster. You can cut a wrap down to fit, or gently stretch a slightly-too-small wrap (up to around 2mm) after warming it.
They feel stiff or hard to smooth.
Warm the wrap with a hairdryer for a few seconds before applying — it softens the gel and makes it easier to mould. In cold weather, warm the whole pack under your arm or in a pocket for 5-10 minutes first.
